High Thrills! High Capacity!

Round Up Ride

The Round Up is a spectacular thrill ride that offers non-stop excitement to a very wide age group. Passengers get pinned to the cage wall by gravitational forces, as they are lifted high into the air in, while the whole world is spinning around in a blurring flash of dazzling lights and pounding music.

Featuring high capacity and high throughput, the Round Up is a must for events that either utilise the Ride Pass system or offer "free rides", as high volumes of guests can access the attraction in a relatively short space of time.

Jubilee Entertainment's Round Up is supplied fully supervised by trained staff, and includes music, lighting and full perimeter fencing.

Inclement Weather

Unfortunately, most amusement rides cannot operate in adverse weather such as rain, strong winds and extreme heat. For the safety of our guests, closure of the rides may be required under certain conditions including:

  • Heavy showers, light to heavy continual rain
  • Thunderstorms/Lightning
  • Wind gusts in excess of 35kph for inflatable amusement devices and 40kph for mechanical rides
  • Extreme heat of 35 degrees or more

Amusement rides usually stop operations during a rain shower, and recommence when the shower passes. Rides cannot operate during steady light/heavy rain due to safety risks of slips, falls etc.

Wind gusts are monitored by supervisors using an Anemometer. As a general rule of thumb, when the wind is too strong for Pop Up marquees to remain upright when erected (around 40kph), then the public is at risk of injury due to flying debris and safety concerns force amusement ride closure.

Extreme heat of 35 degrees or more presents health and safety risks due to sun exposure. The seats of some attractions can become very hot and extremely uncomfortable to sit on, resulting in skin burns. The floors and exposed slides on inflatable amusement devices can become too hot for safe use, and can lead to skin/friction burns.

Should inclement weather force the closure of an amusement device, operators will make every effort to re-open the ride once it is safe to do so.
