Brisbane Irish Festival
The Brisbane Irish Festival is a long-standing series of special events that promote and celebrate the occasion of St Patrick's Day, Irish culture and its contribution to the state of Queensland.
The Festival highlight is the St Patrick's Day Parade, which is held amidst the streets of Brisbane city since 1989, flooding the inner-city district with a colourful convoy of floats, paricipants and displays representing Irish culture that provide free community-oriented entertainment for all ages.
