Join us for two weekends in October at the Brisbane Showgrounds as we celebrate all things German at this year's Oktoberfest - one of Queensland's largest cultural festivals.

Oktoberfest Brisbane is a family-friendly event, where all ages can experience the spectacle, atmosphere and fun of a spectacular Bavarian festival. Celebrate Munich's famed festival in traditional style with non-stop music, dancing, singing along with tasty samples of German-style food and beer.

Oktoberfest Brisbane wouldn't be the same without our awesome entertainers! A non-stop program of live music features our very own Bavarian Oompah band, Alpenrosen Dance Group and yodeller Heidi. Must-see classic competitions include the Bavarian Strongmen, Beardmeister and Miss Oktoberfest Brisbane.

When it comes to food, Oktoberfest Brisbane has something for everyone, so get ready for some mouth-watering German dishes! Feast on a range of tasty classics including Schnitzel, Pork Knuckle, Bratwurst, Sausage, Sauerkraut, baked Potato dishes and warm Pretzels. For sweets, you'll find our traditional German slices and cakes hard to resist. Treat the tastebuds to ample servings of Apple Strudel, Sacher Torter, Bee Sting, and the legendary Black Forest cake.

The original Oktoberfest in Munich celebrated the local beer breweries and the craft, so in fine tradition, we will be featuring a variety of hand-crafted German beers, along with Schnaps mixers, champagne, German and Australian wines and various non alcholic beverages.
