EVENT DESCRIPTION

Redland City's premier annual event - Redfest, is an annual cultural and music festival featuring artists and musicians from across the globe. Every September, the Redlands Showgrounds comes alive in a symphony of beautiful sounds and blazing colours, in this wonderful community celebration.

The jammed packed Concert Stage program includes many of the country's best artists, poets, dancers, singers and performers with a diverse lineup designed to cater for all ages and musical tastes.

The RedFest Strawberry Plaza is home to the iconic Strawberry Eating Competition, along with a range of sweets treats such as strawberries and cream, chocolate dipped strawberries skewers, strawberry ice-cream and strawberry themed beverages.

The Strawberry Patch Kids Zone offers great hands-on children's activities, crafts, arts, face painting and workshops. Littlies will love the live on-stage performances, along with Wildlife Displays and Baby Animal Farm.

Experience traditional Quandamooka song and dance performances, storytelling, cultural talks, workshops and displays. The Albert Morris Pavilion will feature displays of some magnificent Love Birds, Finches, Budgerigars and Canaries along with exhibits by the Bayside Woodturners & Woodcrafters Club

The Food Court will boast many of Brisbane's best food trucks, offering everything from fall-off-the-bone smokey BBQ burgers and traditional wood-fired Pizzas, to mouth-watering strawberry-based sweets and desserts; there will be something to satisfy everyone's taste buds.
